The inception of the single make tyre rule means exciting but challenging times for Pirelli who return as the tyre supplier for the fourth consecutive season. The ruling was introduced to the series to ensure a fairer tyre supply and provide more of a level playing field, ultimately providing a closer, more thrilling race series.

Pirelli has developed a range of Diablo tyres for both the Superbike and Supersport championships, giving a choice of three different specifications of dry Diablo front and rear tyres. Wet and Intermediate tyre choices are also available across both championships in the form of the Diablo Rain and Diablo Wet products.

A team of 17 tyre technicians will supply and fit around 5500 Pirelli tyres for both BSB and BSS classes over a race weekend. The technicians are backed up by two technical co-ordinators who work directly with the race teams to advise and analyse throughout practice and qualifying.

The new Diablo tyres have been developed at World Championship level, in association with the World Superbike and Supersport Championships. All of the Diablo products that we use at the circuits are available over the counter as a customer tyre. Any customer using a 16.5' front wheel can source identical tyres via their local Pirelli stockist and utilise the exact same tyres as their racing heroes.

2011 sees the Triumph Triple Challenge (TTC) running solely with the MCE British Superbike Championship at nine rounds of the championship.

After its inaugural year the 848 Challenge will return in 2011 as an official partner series to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship (BSB).

This one-make series for Ducati 848 and EVO models guarantees close racing and a tight championship. The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship (BSB) has chosen the UK's largest car producer, Nissan for the coveted status of its official vehicle supplier.

The agreement between BSB series commercial rights holder MSVR and Nissan Motor GB continues until 2013, which sees a fleet of thirteen vehicles comprising six different models deployed in various demanding roles.

Two 3.8 Nissan GT-Rs, each capable of 196mph will act as safety cars, ready to be dispatched to control a field of 200bhp Superbikes and to chase the first racing lap.

Three Qashqai+2 medical cars will provide fast medical intervention.

A 3.7 V6 370Z will act as a course car for the Race Direction and other track officials whilst the winners will be paraded in a Navara.

Nissans award winning LCV fleet will provide trackside and logistics support specifically utilising new NV400 models.

The Italian protective clothing giant, Dainese announced a deal that sees it increase its commitment to the UK market by launching a new partnership with the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.

Dainese and AGV take the position as the British Superbike Official Safety Partner under the banner of Italian Legendary Protection (ILP) supporting their existing relationship with Guy Martin and a new deal with Josh Brookes who will campaign their Relentless Suzuki by TAS in the Superstock and the Superbike classes respectively.

Eurosport Television has secured the long term exclusive worldwide television and online rights to the prestigious British Superbike Championship.

Following the success of the two previous seasons MotorSport Vision, which owns the rights to BSB, and Eurosport has agreed a five year broadcasting deal, enabling the digital sports channel to retain the domestic UK Superbike championships up to 2015.
